As a drug, betaine hydrochloride has been used as a source of hydrochloric acid in the treatment of hypochlorhydria.
Pharmacological action:
The combined preparation. Promotes food digestion in the stomach.
Indications:
At hypo- and anacid gastritises (the inflammation of a stomach accompanied by decrease of level or absence of hydrochloric acid), ahylea (absence of allocation in a stomach of hydrochloric acid and enzymes), dispension (digestion frustration).
Doses:
During or after meal 1-2 tablets 3-4 times a day; children (depending on age) from 1/4 tablets to 1 tablet 3-4 times a day.
Packing:
Tablets 0,25 g in a pack of 50 pieces. Structure: pepsine - 1 part, a hydrochloride betaine - 4 parts.

Usual.
